Sunrise in a special place

Out with Hector and Ziggy just before 6am this morning and even at that time of day their tails don't cease to wag.

On turning a corner in a small coppice I was confronted with this view and had to share the moment with you. Although H&Z are blind to the scene and are more intent on identifying all the woodland animals that have passed this way in the night.

Their noses are rarely no more than 2" from the ground.
