50. monthly mayhem

So yes, I am one of those mums who takes a monthly photo of my munchkin. Today marks 10 amazing months with Robin! In the early days the monthly photo simply involved dressing Robin in something white and plopping her onto a blanket on the couch beside an updated chalkboard and then into a laundry hamper.

These days the monthly photo shoot has become… more… interesting!

Last month she dove off the couch while I was taking photos (I half caught her, don’t worry), and this time she picked up the slate, smeared chalk all over the couch, and climbed out of the laundry hamper. It all seems to be happening! Yesterday she pulled herself up to standing for the first time, and a tooth is coming through at the top.

Somehow, every single day she manages to get even more amazing.
