Riverside and Tall Ship

Another beautiful morning driving into Glasgow, so made a quick stop at the Riverside Museum.

I liked this viewpoint of the Museum, with the masts of the Tall Ship "Glenlee" against the beautiful blue sky. And if you go large you can see a gull that is flying high in the sky.

I also noticed today that the Govan Ferry is back and it is free this time. The passenger ferry service between Govan and the Riverside Museum started on the 7th July and runs until the 21st of September 2014. Most likely this is due to the Commonwealth Games.

The historic ferry route was a regular crossing from 1734 until the Clyde Tunnel opened in 1966.
