Being at the seaside seems to bring out the child in all of us. The father had earlier climbed on a big rock, and then the tide came in... He had to take a running jump to get back to the beach. He miscalculated and fell in up to his knees. His son was completely entranced by the water and father forgot all about his wet feet as he watched the boy at play.
