Magic

We went to a magic show at our local bookstore. Ithe audience consisted of a middle aged gentleman who thought he looked like Pete Townshend, my daughter and me. So we got our very own semi-private magic show. My daughter got to help with two tricks. In the one photographed, she was told to hold the card steady and run it across the tops of the others which made them all stand up in a wave. In the second trick, she had to hold three squishy balls and say abracadabra and then release them. Miraculously or rather magically, they had changed into six balls.
My daughter really enjoyed herself - although a note of hysteria entered into it as it was the end of a long day! It was fun and I hope they get more people to attend future showings as apparently he's there every Wednesday evening doing shows at 6pm and 7pm. Plus the bookshop is just great! Everything is $10 or less (mostly less!). Some brand new, some collectible and then everything in between used and second hand.
