TRULY BLESSED

BLESSED: A portrait of Yorkshire actor Brian Blessed at York Maze.

This year’s York Maze features giant images of three Yorkshire legends; no-nonsense cricket commentator Geoffrey Boycott, loud-mouthed Top Gear presenter Jeremey Clarkson, and larger than life actor and adventurer Brian Blessed, known for being loud but in a different kind of way.

Each head is over 50m in diameter and each has been carefully cut out of the 18 acre field containing over one million living maize plants. Between the heads are giant Yorkshire Roses.
