Rowing their way to a world record!!!

“Police Scotland officers and staff have smashed the record for the world’s largest rowing class.

At the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Emirates Arena in Glasgow this morning, 215 officers, staff and colleagues from the Scottish Fire and Rescue, broke the world record for rowing simultaneously on rowing machines for a single period of 60 minutes. The previous world record stood at 191 people.

The event, which has still to be officially recognised by Guinness World Records, has raised thousands of pounds for charity.
