Just another Downhill View

Over the Southern Riverside forest black and greyish thunderclouds are laying at a distance as Monsters, holding back their savage powers of waters, winds and fires. Until now it has been a dry, very hot summer day. No sudden shower like yesterday. But the evening and the night is still long. A Big pale Moon rises over the Eastern horizon. We have a blue evening sky over “Carlsheaven”. And downhill - where I made today’s photo - the shadows are growing.

And what a day we had here. Cleaning up our Augean Stables the whole hot day long. In stead of swimming or laying beside a pool in the shadow. No, we were moving the old rummage outside in the hot sun for a “dry-clean” move. Drying out the moist&mustiness. And the cleaning turn was mine. She would rather follow the drastic Hercules’ way and Flush the Whole Dirt and Rubbish Out at Once. As she has cleaned it up already so many times and feels desperate like Sisyphos. And I was dying in doing the cleansing under the stinging sun.

Two poor victims of the Other’s Failures to care for a decent Order in Life. You all know this: when you started living together, one room with two beds was enough, but then...well, luckily, towards the end of the afternoon we managed to move All Things back inside. Ready in time for a heavy shower...that did not fall down until now...But when we restart the whole excercise tomorrow, we will be better off. Besides, we shall have our resting day then, so Nothing to Complain here. The Rain Monsters have drawn back behind their Southern Lines. The Full Moon is smiling brightly over the Valley Scene. And, hey! there is a bat flying around the house...And I must still see if the fireflies are wandering down through the hill forest for the latest newsreport to Mischa. Goodnight!
