For the past week I've been showing all of my classes a KML file of recent earthquakes. Usually the closest to us is an event in Greece or Italy...

Today was teaching a lesson on earthquakes to my year 8s, when there was an actual earthquake.

An absolutely incredible experience...

The magnitude 3.9 Earthquake was the strongest in the Channel Islands since 1933!
