Budding Cosmo

It's that time of the year when most of the flowers have grown out and up. Soon there will be no Cosmos in our yard, although I'm not sure this year. Warm temps and more room to grow since we got rid of our front lawn have provided us with an abundance of Cosmopolitans. They're pretty much care free. In fact, I've had to pull and clip some out of the way of our raised bed veggie and herb garden. That said, these guys are growing to over 6 feet in height and still blooming new buds. Plenty of seeds for the Goldfinches and plenty of pollen for the bees.

This one was particularly standing out in the light of the evening.

I thought I'd share...
