SRAF

Yesterday we went to the Scottish Real Ale Festival (SRAF), held at the Corn Exchange. This annual event is organised by CAMRA. There were 200-odd beers to choose from, all brewed in Scotland. It's sort of a real ale nirvana!

It was a nice mixed crowd - in particular, I noticed more women there than in previous years, which was good to see. The Festival runs over three and a half days. The weather was very hot - last year was the same, and by the Saturday they had run out of many beers (gasp!), so we decided this year to go on the Friday. There were only two beers I'd wanted to try that were either sold out or not yet ready, so going on Friday really paid off.
