Thes things just don't happen in Moringside

We woke up this morning to find that our road had been cordoned off, the police had been coming and going at a house jat the top of the road yesterday, apparently one of our elderly neighbours had been attacked on the Friday afternoon. Anyway the police have been busy with their enquires with forensic teams and police searches all along the roads. We have the media mooching about also.

It all seems a bit surreal as this is a very sleepy part of town and things like this are pretty unheard of. A sign of the times I guess.
We all hope our neighbour pulls through but the police are keeping very tight lipped about the whole thing.
