Small Tortoiseshell

A very common British butterfly but I was pleased that it stopped long enough on the thistle for me to take a quick photo. I've seen a few Common Blues and Green-veined Whites but they are so small and acrobatic in comparison to the tortoiseshell that they are not so easy to photograph.
