Hummingbird Moth

It was so hard to choose!

We have a wonderful bush outside one of the windows in the library. It hosts bees and butterflies, and occasionally this hummingbird moth. I caught him today and knew he would be my blip.

I got him flying thru the air with his proboscis curled. I caught him extending it into a flower. I even caught his wings in one.

I picked this one because of the details in his body and because he is clear against the background.
