St Annes Carnival

As chair of fundraising for St Annes Rotary this year I got to help choose the international charity, and today has been the first event in our calendar, raising the profile of Aquabox and running the coconut shy and ball game. The wonderful weather helped pull the crowds in, and Ashton Gardens was absolutely teeming for most of the day with a great carnival atmosphere and fun for all the family.

Some kids asked where the coconuts came from, and we told them that some of us had had to get up very early that morning and climb the trees to find them!!
