Burgos; best dinner ever at el Morito!

No kidding -this was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. EVER. Everything was cooked and prepared to perfection!
The salad was the showstopper -ensalada de gulas, bacalao, salmon y ahumados . It was made of roses of smoked salmon and cod topped with caviar, lugas (the wormy looking things -actually delicious, tiny fish) and ribbons of cucubner, served with beautifully seasoned lettuce and carrot shavings. We also had revuelto con jamon, queso y patatas -scrambled eggs with ham, cheese and potatoes. And the most deliciously cooked chicken, topped with cheese and caramelised onions, and served on toasted bread. There was also toast with tomatoes and lashings of jambon serrano, which I don't have a photo of. All washed down with a nice glass of sangria, my favourite drink in Spain. Ok, and possibly ever (after Pimm's).
