Broken Studs

I was back at Pickering station today, scene of many of my previous photos, but for the first time we had a proper look at the engine shed. This huge workshop behind the station is where they renovate the old carriages. They let me climb up a ladder inside a carriage they've apparently been working on for nine years – and reckon there's still a year's work to go.

I took this from inside the carriage, looking out of a fancy-shaped window out onto one of the workers.
