Feed Me

This morning we were treated to a daddy blackbird expending copious amounts of energy feeding his offspring from our fat-feeder in the back garden. The feeder has been set up to make it difficult for large birds like the jackdaws and starlings to get all the food and leaving nothing for the sparrows and tits etc.

Most of the time he had two youngsters to contend with but by the time I had grabbed Mrs W’s cast-off he was down to one. Sorry about the image quality, but it was a quick snap with what was on the camera, and a lot of cropping.

I managed to video a couple of minutes of the spectacle before I took the stills.
