A Bit Of Fresh Eyre

Only a couple of things to do today, but a couple of fairly big things. The Olympiastadion and the Reichstag.

Thanks to the incredible efforts (all week) of the exec we queued for tickets to the Reichstag (seems they don't like just anyone wandering into their parliament building) before heading off to one the Nazi's more extravagant event locations. Certainly a different kind of stadium to most others - brutally beautiful. Partly a shame its been renovated with a modern roof, but the obvious positioning of now missing swastikas is definitely amusing.
The afternoon showed us the Bundestag's home, or at least the roof terrace. Very nice addition and excellent views across the mostly iffy Berlin skyline. Much better than the Houses of Parliament.

The evening led us to a recommended bar; worthwhile wandering to, before tiredness got the better of us and even though another trip to Zu Mir Oder Zu Dir (that place never gets old) was needed, bed was needed soon after.
