Baxter

This is a picture of Baxter taken in the early morning after he has spent the night sleeping on the sofa so he is fairly subdued. An hour or so later he was anything but but subdued when he went on his morning walk. Before we hit the dunes where he is allowed to roam wild, we saw a shrew or vole shoot across the path in front of us and Baxter was immediately pulling at the lead to give chase. I purposely took him some distance away before letting him off the lead but he was having none of it and immediately shot off to where he saw the tiny rodent. It was ages before he joined Zoe and me in the dunes but he was still full of energy bounding about like a little bambi.
