Lintrathen Loch, Angus

I had a couple of hours to spare and because it was a beautiful afternoon I decided to take the long way home from Aberdeen. I came through Kirriemuir and up into Glenisla via Lintrathen. The loch is actually a reservoir which serves Dundee and north Perth and Kinross. In order to achieve this the water level was raised and some farms were submerged in the process.
I lived beside this beautiful loch for four years back in the early 1980s, and have only been back a couple of times since - the last being about 10 years ago. It was a nostalgic return for me and the loch was looking beautiful in the summer sunshine.
