Ducks

Early afternoon I went for a walk with a friend and as we passed the 'lodge' a family of ducks were swimming hopefully near the edge. We did not have any bread for them.:(

Lodge is a word from around here for a pond. This one is deep and belongs to an anglers society. There are some large fish that come and vie with the ducks for bread!

Today we had an unexpected trip to my daughter's in Wales to collect the American son's kindle. He somehow managed to loose it in the hotel room and it has only just been found! Tomorrow it will join him in London, thanks to youngest son going there for business! All's well that ends well!
