Floozies and Friends

On my way to a conference this morning I happened to meet the "Fort Dalles Floozies and Friends." These are a group of highly entertaining volunteers who are dedicated to the promotion, education and entertainment of the residents and visitors of the Dalles, OR, in the Columbia River Gorge. They do this by "providing a living history of our community's past; enjoyment and laughter for all in our present; and love and hope for the future."

Their motto: The spirit of history is very much alive in the 21st Century - The Dalles, Oregon."

I must say, these folks made it terribly tempting to ditch my conference and sign on for the day as an honorary friend of the Floozies! If you're ever in the area, check these folks out!
