Prickly Plant!

A beautiful morning but by early afternoon it was beginning to rain. A visit to the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews was on the agenda ..... a little drop of rain wasn't going to put us off. Many of the plants there I have blipped before but not this one. I'm not a great fan of cacti but I really liked the swirling pattern on the top of this Mammillaria Bachmannii.
