Yikes

It may look rather like a tent peg but this is the pin Son2 had removed from his healing wrist today. When he was in hospital I was told that it would be removed under anaesthetic but it turns out this was incorrect and it is just pulled out in the plaster clinic. He was very brave - and so was I! He now has a funky green cast for three weeks and then, all being well, he will be back in action for the rest of the summer.
