Double Take

I knew I had a relative buried in the churchyard at Lowfield Heath. Rooted about and found it.

I know he left an estate worth in excess of £2000, which in 1952 must have been a very considerable sum of money; he left it to his son Ernest George rather than his wife. Mind you she left him some £6,400 10 years later.

I have a feeling that organising ones financial affairs to reduce tax is not something new!
