Today's start was just above where yesterday's walk finished and involved a climb and scramble of over 1000m to 2914m.
We set off across the mountainside, then below these dramatic cliffs (with wall creepers), over the ridge and into a fine cirque with even more dramatic cliffs. Out of the cirque was fairly easy and there was a large herd(?flock) of chamois just above but then it was 2-handed scrambling in the mist to the top where we had lunch.
Down was via an easier way over a variety of terrain and back to the start. Only about half the length of yesterday's walk but not much less time. The mist came and went a bit and there was affair amount of sun - and again lots of flowers, many different from the ones I blipped yesterday.
Our evening meal was eaten (for the second day) in a thunder storm and despite the exercise I couldn't manage to eat it all. Just as we were returning to the hotel the sun went down as a big red ball.
