Chilli harvest

When we came home from our 18 day, 2000 mile, House-hunting, baby-visiting, coastal walking odyssey our conservatory garden was destroyed, warm sunny weather had laid waste to all our pepper plants. The stratagem of leaving them inside found wanting, since the outdoor tomatoes and cucumber were fine.

I think I have managed to save the avocado, more later.

So this is our chilli crop for this year, ripened on the, dying, vine.

One banana and two cheyenne.

Maybe better luck next year in our new garden. No holidays permitted without house-sitters.
