Trust

Trust (noun): Firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something; an arrangement whereby a person (a trustee) holds property as its nominal owner for the good of one or more beneficiaries.

This morning I'm up at Hughenden Manor, a National Trust property, sitting in the Walled Garden and enjoying the profusion of the wild-flower meadow - insects, flowers, colours, scents. How important it is to have a sense of trust in our lives. To know that we can rely on others to act for our good. To believe that 'all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.'
