Completely free cake

A busy day at Cookie Towers.

I had an order for a dairy free/gluten free/egg free cake selection box. This was reasonably challenging but I got there in the end.

This sponge cake looks fab but does taste a bit… odd. It's the gluten free flour, it simply doesn't taste the same as ordinary wheat flour.

For the record they also got seriously chocolatey brownies, a fruit loaf and some marmalade flapjacks which were truly delicious (and ok because the customer can tolerate oats). I took photos if anyone is interested. You can see them on FB if you search for Very Smart Cookie Co :)
