Day One: En Route

Long day driving though some rather horrendous traffic yesterday (which keeps reminding me why I don't ever want to live south of the border) to get to the first real day of the holiday. Through the channel tunnel and then another long drive to our first Gite. Still the roads in France were thankfully free of traffic (that's what you pay tolls for I guess).
