Dordrecht is on an island

Originally Dordrecht was only accessible over water, but that was a long time ago. At its heydays Dordrecht was one of the most important place in Holland and was one of the first cities to receive so called 'city rights'. Nowadays we are connected to the surrounding land by bridges, a tunnel and ferries. This is one of the ferries.
