Room service for two!

This morning we headed to Heartbeats with N&C&O. It was a great way for CJ to burn off some energy before we started our trip north. After the class finished, we said our goodbyes as CJ and I were about to start on our trip north. We had an amazing time staying with them and will miss them once we get home!

On our way to the motorway, we stopped for lunch briefly and then one last coffee with a friend, before settling down for the drive.

Luckily by the time we got on the road CJ was ready for a nap and slept for a most of the trip to the hotel that I had booked at the halfway point.

Once at the hotel CJ and I headed straight for the swimming pool - CJ was on fine form and decided that today's game should be pushing off from the wall and trying to swim to me. It was the first time he has really attempted this unprompted and he was doing amazingly well! He still has issues floating so he didn't get much distance but that didn't stopped him trying time and time again!

After swimming, we headed back up to the room to order some dinner and set up the travel cot. It wasn't long before dinner arrived and CJ thought it was a great game to share a small table with me and his car toys.

We then had a Skype with S2 before bedtime - a great way to end a busy day!
