The Bubble Within.

On our way down the Maine coast, we always stop in Freeport to investigate the outlets. The stay is not complete without a visit to L.L. Bean's flagship store, first for a cup of iced coffee and then up to the Hun'in' an' Fishin' department where, across from the firearm and crossbow section there is an enormous fish tank filled with different kinds of trout. I had envisaged the fish as my Blip for today. In one corner of the tank, at floor level, is a little tunnel that leads to a plexiglass dome which sticks up into the floor of the tank. Little kids can wriggle down the tunnel and watch all the trout swimming around them. These three adorable cherubs were in the dome as I was photographing, and the Blip morphed from the fish to the kids. There is a representative trout over to the left just for credibility! I didn't stop to think about it at the time, since I was clicking away, but taking photographs of other people's children without permission is generally not considered a good idea. It can lead to the summoning of police officers… At any rate, nobody seemed to notice or care, and I netted an unusual catch.
