A slice of Lesley's life

Sunny side of the street

A good night's sleep and a coffee shop with aircon and finally my brain has kicked into action with the piece of work it needed to complete. Just in time too.

Walked passed these houses to the garage to collect my car following the stolen lamp repair, plus the obligatory couple of other things that inevitably needed doing. Love this row of cottages.

The rest of the day will be spent picking up the kids and driving to Wolverhampton to meet up with lots of my family and proudly watch my eldest niece perform a French Horn solo as Wolverhampton's Young Musician of the Year.

EDIT: the concert was fabulous and Georgia did an amazing job with three solos! Wolverhampton is one of the few remaining council run musical schools in the country, providing lessons to all at no cost, and it is great to see it thriving. It is a pre-tour concert and now they head off to entertain the good folks of Italy and Bavaria.
