Outlier from the famed OBX Corolla wild horses?

Had to stop and get a shot or two of this beautiful stallion along side the highway near my home. Could be he's part of an outlying herd from the famed Corolla horses of the OBX...he showed no fear while I lined up these photographs. Was still there as I drove off.
