Big tyre

Not an everyday sight.

Really? A large tyre abandoned in the middle of a field? Of course I had to go and investigate...and in all it's wonderfulness, it is simply that!

Great presentations from the Duke of Edinburgh scheme participants, including Ben, at LVC this evening, a lovely glimpse into the weekend activities that I had NOT heard about, heart warming and very funny.

Am considering taking back my extravagant praise of son no.1 today. After having got the younger ones up and out, walked the dog and left for work at 9.45 I specifically (shouted up the stairs) that a delivery was due and that he needed to make sure he answered the door. He grunted.

Arrived home to discover a note left by delivery man at 11.45 (!) Seemingly James had been asleep and didn't hear the doorbell!!
