Callum was keeping a regular beady eye on everything going on this evening, fitting it in with the wee angel act, and lots of showing off how strong his neck muscles are. The lack of one bad boy mitten is not due to good behaviour, but to Callum being sick on it! His feeding tube has been moved to his nose, meaning he now has nothing to suck on in his mouth, which he's not too keen on.

Ayrshire Maternity Unit was going like a fair, apparently there are no more beds in the inpatient ward and the Neonatal Unit has been officially closed to new admissions as they simply can't look after any more babies. That means any new patients go to Glasgow until things calm down. One of the babies in HDU with Callum arrived back from Glasgow recently, after being shipped out for that same reason last week. The recent reduction in birth rate (in England to be fair) in the paper the other day is not in evidence in Ayrshire this summer!
