Stuck

Dragonflies are my most favorite insect. Last summer the kids and I checked out a book about them from the library and found out that they, although they appear to be serene, they are actually quite fierce. Dragonflies are aggressive predators for many insects, especially mosquitoes. Male dragonflies will fight off other males if they are trying to entice a female to mate. We love finding their exoskeletons attached to the dock at my folks' place. That is why I was a wee bit sad when I saw this dragonfly caught in a spider web. It's a insect eat insect world out there.
