Sparrow

Went to Hamilton last night for a reunion with friends from teenage days. Amazing how after 30 years of not being in contact with someone; when you meet again, it's as though the no time has passed. What special gifts friends are.
While we were out walking around the lake this morning, I spied this little sparrow on top of a native flax bush, against the background of a cloudless, bright blue sky. Yet another gift from the universe.
