Help with Homework

At my class this week we dipped in to Photoshop. We were given homework which involves either street photography or someone in their work environment. I didn't want to ask people to let me take shots, BUT....I didn't want to go with no shots next week! :((. Everyone I asked was very cooperative but I still find action shots in the street difficult. This shot is in our artisan cheese shop. Definite request for how to improve it.
