Here goes, the last day in Uganda! A sub par photo to finish on, quickly snapped at the airport waiting for boarding. Its taken me almost a year to upload all the blip entries, which is too bad because I would have liked more people to see them back then...
It all began on the 25th of August and here we are at the end. There's no point in reiterating how much of a great time I've had, both on our adventures and working on the projects in Fort Portal! The friends I've made and the experiences I've had are here to stay. I've learned how to barter, budget and plan better, and learned a lot about myself on the way. I've also become a massive alcoholic (spoiler alert: this doesn't stop being true across my final year of uni). Kris and Ali have been the sickest bros to travel with, and I'm wondering how Kris and me didn't get sick of being together for what ended up being more than 5 weeks straight. Good friendships to endure. So in retrospective, here's my favorite shots from the holiday:

If I Had A Tail

Alan Glasses

Road Trip to Lake Albert!

Field Day

Murchison, Are You Ready?

Apex

But there's a bunch of others I love, so check them out! Probably my most consistent run of decent photography on my blip ever.

In conclusion, today we chilled at the pool again, before Kris and me headed off to the airport for our flights to Dubai and then London. We left Ali behind to enjoy a couple more days of adventure. Our driver Sulait was probably the nicest guy I met in the five weeks here. He genuinely left an impression on us about the kinds of characters you can find in Uganda.

Two things are clear at the end of it all: much love to Team Colin, and to Uganda.

peace
