Keeping The Port Tidy

So the tankers disappeared this morning, pah (see yesterday's blip). But upon leaving the civic carpark I noticed a convoy of road sweepers heading for the local Morrisons petrol station, so I couldn't resist the photo opportunity.

Another busy day at work. A superb brunch was cooked up by J, which was a lovely way to finish off our hectic year. Lots of stories and laughs. We were due to leave the building earlier than normal as there was a series of announcements to be made with the usual: thank yous, goodbyes, retirements, good luck etc. Again lots of stories and laughs. K did really well with her fairwell speech considering the number of emotional meltdowns she has had this week. We will miss you K. x

A scorching hot day meant Tuttle jnr looked forward to cub camp tonight. A long drive there, but it paid off as all the cubs got on with it and looked as if they won't be missing their parents one bit! The joys of watching your kids grow up!! This of course also means two childless night s for Mr & Mrs Tuttle, starting tonight in the local Weatherspoons with great friends L & B.
