On the road to SunPeaks - the co pilot

Drove from Whistler to Sunpeaks today. Gave us a feel for how big Canada is, and how varied the landscape. What looked a wee way on the map took us 6 hours to travel with a one hour stop thrown in. We travelled NE from Whistler with D getting her first chance of driving. First part of journey was Alpine with massive snow covered mountains. Passed through Pemberton and Lilloouet where the scenery changed to rather desolate scrubby regions - almost like a TV Western or parts of Arizona. We had lunch at a place called Cache Creek which again was like something out of a TV movie before eventually arriving in a very quiet Sun Peaks which is a purpose built ski resort.
