Domestic Spider found when cleaning the Study Carpet, which really needs it since I came in from gardening in my big boots! NB don't tell Helen, please.

For blipping, it was a choice of this prime specimen (body length = 1cm) or one of a series of exposures I took to check lens quality of my 40mm Pancake lens. The lens tests are less interesting, though perhaps more important at the moment. Results suggest best f number for sharpness is somewhere between f6.3 and f9, by the way.

NB A 'pancake lens' is no good for food preparation, but the name simply means that the physical length of the lens sticking out from the camera is very short. Makes the camera easier to stash in a pocket.
