Stitched up!

Last day of term so lots of tears. I held my composure most of the day. There was only a few moments that caught me out, one was when all the kids left at the end of the day and a alot were crying and giving me hugs. They have been a lovely class and I shall miss them, we have had a lot of lovely characters. I wish them all well and hope they take advantages of their education and opportunities given them.

The picture is Louis' mouth. He was mugged for a tenner! Luckily he had left his phone at his mates when he nipped out to the local shop for a few beers. A guy in a hooddie approached him and told him to give him his stuff and punched him in the face. He tried to sort out his split lip but ended up calling the NHS helpline. Instead of telling him to get himself to A&E they sent a paramedic! She assessed him and after a telephone consultation with a colleague at the hospital Louis went to A&E. He had to go back in the morning and see the specialist who closed the wound with 3 stitches. Although in pain he is fine.
