St. Andrews Cathedral

I don't remember ever wandering around the cathedral here. This is surprising given the fact I've been here every summer since I was about five years old! The mist made the grounds look particularly eerie. Having had the pleasure of worshipping in Westminster Abbey and Glasgow Cathedral, I can only imagine what it must have looked like in it's prime in medieval times.

It wasn't the best day for the beach or ice cream in St Andrews. Coffee shops were chock-full of disappointed tourists, which made finding a quiet place to finish my book difficult. My sister had friends through for her birthday weekend and they had a pretty packed day despite the weather.
