Amish Auction

Over 125 horses plus cherry pies plus harness plus farm equipment plus used church pews plus plus went on sale today to benefit an Amish school. Hundreds of Amish were in attendance many of them came with horse drawn buggies. Amish men wear hats and beards and suspenders but no mustaches nor belts. Some of them smoke; they look serious but they also laugh. Amish women wear bonnets or fish net prayer caps or kerchiefs of some kind. They do not cut their hair. Amish women drive horse drawn buggies on their own so are interested in harness; the young girls chew bubble gum. I saw no Amish with a cell phone but lots with french fries.
