Unidentified moth

We've had the back door open in the evenings to try and cool the house down. This lovely moth was sitting on one of the cupboards this morning.
I've tried to work out what it is but haven't had much luck - the only one that I thought it looked something like said that it might be extinct in England so I'm now not sure what it is (Small Ranunculus Hecatera dysodea). Any ideas blippers?

Thanks to Mollyblobs for the ID - it is the small ranunculus which is making a comeback.
