Great, poor, inferior.

Laura and I were going on a hiking trip today. We started too late although it was boiling hot and the weather forecast predicted severe weather for the afternoon. Laura forgot her hiking boots at home in the Hallertau and therefore had to use her running shoes. On the ascend we took wrong turns twice. Then Laura had a little accident which resulted in a lot of scratches and bruises. While cleaning the scratches Laura lost her mobile (which we later found again after going back there). After all that and given the bad weather forecast it was too late to safely try to reach the summit (of Österreichischer Schinder near Tegernsee, by the way) and so we turned around to descend and walk back to the car. That was the only right decision all day, as the storm arrived just when we got into the car.

Good idea, poor planning, inferior execution.

But this mountain is going to see us again - we do not surrender this easily!
